VISUALEYES FALLS TO TAP ROOM, FAILS TO DEFEND EMHL TITLE

Team V dug a hole it could not dig itself out of. After losing Game 1 of the EMHL final to Third Street Tap Room, Visualeyes came out flat in Game 2, giving up two goals in the first 42 seconds and trailed 4-0 after the first period.

Team V finally beat Tap Room's goaltender halfway through the second period and looked to make a comeback. Tap Room kept the pressure on Visualeyes, taking a 5-2 lead into the third period.

Visualeyes battled back in the third, tying the game at 6 with under 2 minutes to play in regulation, but suffered a huge blow when called for a questionable high sticking penalty off the ensuing face-off. Third Street Tap Room took advantage of the power-play, and scored with 44 seconds remaining in the game, making the score 7-6, and driving home the final nail in Team V's season.

Team Visualeyes would like to congratulate Third Street Tap Room General Manager, Justin Cefaly and Owner, Jack Hornung on their 2012 EMHL Championship.
