TEAM V DROPS GAME 1 of EMHL FINALS

Visualeyes built a three goal lead in the first seven minutes of Game One and watched it mutate into a 7-5 defeat. Grizzled veteran forward, Jack Hornung, who lead the way for 3rd Street Tap Room, jump-started their comeback with a natural hat-trick beginning with 56 seconds remaining in the first period.

3rd Street continued to take it to Visualeyes in the second period, scoring four unanswered goals, taking a 5-3 lead into the final period. Team V fought back, but could not outscore Tap Room in the third, falling 7-5. "We have to make a decision. Do we want to regret what could have been, or do we want to be drinking "Beer 30" out of the Cup?" said center Donald Borsuk after the disappointing loss.

With their backs against the wall, Visualeyes looks to force a Game 3 with a win on Monday, April 16th at 9:20 PM at Buffalo State Arena.
