Visualeyes got off to a good start, as Garren Reisweber scored his 7th goal of the year with five minutes left in the first period. Cozumel answered back, and went on a 6 goal run before Team V could find the back of the net again. As quick as the goals came for Visualeyes, the clock seemed to tick faster, eventually deciding the game.
Adam Bellows scored twice, while Bob Simpson-Corigliano, Duff Dunnigan, and Max Bonitoall tallied a goal in the loss. Zack Edwards played well in net as Adam Roma continues his tour of the West Coast.
"Bottom line, we can't put ourselves in that type of situation. Digging out of the five goal hole was not easy, but I think it showed some fight, just not enough to get the two points. We'll be ready for next game against Coz, ready for the clutching, the grabbing, the hooking, just all the garbage that belongs in the "C" league. It really is a shame what they're (Cozumel) doing to the league. But I guess it's the same thing every year with Coz, maybe it's my fault for not prepping the guys better. Everything I said on the ice will be reinforced next time." said a heated Drew Leberer-Kasperczyk after the loss.

Bob Simpson-Corigliano added his second goal of the year and had this to say after the game. "I'm frustrated. We need to play a better all around team game. Some guys, not going to name names, but his number rhymes with "bait", really need to look themselves in the mirror and ask themselves iff they are giving their best effort. Our less talented guys need to work even harder and I am just not seeing it out there. To lose to Coz is a joke. I'm here to win. That's the emotion you get from me. If I'm discouraged, if I'm pissed off, that's just how it is. I want to win. I also want to officially apologize to my coach for slashing him, I'm sorry."
"A lot of guys may have played their worst games of the year last night. Am I on that list? Probably. So what do you do? You play better the next game, and the game after that, you play even better. You stick to that and we will be drinking out of the cup at Checkers before you know it." remarked #15 Don Borsuk.
NEWS AND NOTES:
-Reisweber was ejected halfway through the second period for spearing after one of Cozumel's hacks, hacked #5. Reisweber will be suspended for the next game against Winter's Whalers on November 15 at 9:50.
