Elmwood Cozumel looked to get even after losing last years EMHL Championship to Visualeyes Wednesday night at Buffalo State Arena. The grizzled team peppered Team V, and beat the reigning champs 8-3.
Eric Schottke added his second hat-trick of the season, providing all the offensive power for Visualeyes, but that wasn't enough as Dave Reed led Cozumel to their second win of the season. Team V out shot Cozumel, but gave up several odd man rushes, including a three, a two on zero and several breakaway chances that led to goals. Visualeyes drops to 2-1, tied for first in the Classic Division.
Team V looks to bounce back next week Wednesday against Pappas Indians at 10:50pm.
