Simpson-Corigliano Returns, Stanek Called Up

Fan favorite, Bob Simpson-Corigliano, will make his 2011-2012 season debut tonight against the Peace Frogs. Simpson has been side lined for the first five games of the EMHL season with an eye injury he suffered over the summer. Simpson-Corigliano will add more speed up front for Visualeyes and a level of intensity that has been missed.

DERRICK STANEK CALLED UP
October has been a rough month for Team Visualeyes. The team has not won since September, and is looking to disrupt their losing streak tonight. Team V GM, Drew Leberer-Kasperczyk has called up Derrick "The Polish Passer" Stanek from Pittsburgh to shake up the line-up. Stanek, a former standout for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers, will bring some solid defensive play and much needed girth for Visualeyes. "My style of play? It's kinda like Muhammed Ali with Parkinson's...you still wouldn't want to get hit in the face by him right? Same idea." said Stanek when asked about his appearance tonight.

Max Bonito looks to keep his scoring touch alive against the Peace Frogs tonight, and was extremely happy with the addition of Stanek. "He's stepping into a tough role that we need right now. We need him to be and up and down the ice. I know he will be tough in the corners and strong in front of the net. It's a tough role to play, but I know "Ricky" (Stanek) can do it.

Michael A. Denz has also been recalled for tonight's game. Denz has shown promise with his quick feet and ultra positive attitude.

Great seats are still available for tonight's game at Buffalo St! The puck drops at 9:20 PM.
