11-12 SEASON PREVIEW

After an eventful Summer celebrating their 2nd EMHL Title in three years, Team Visualeyes is eager to get back on the ice and defend their title.

Doing so will not be an easy task however, losing two key components to the championship roster. Dangerous Dan Brown lead the team in goals last season and has decided to hang up the skates after a successful rookie campaign. Brown will continue to contribute to TeamV, heading up the Atlantic Coast Scouting staff. Steven Browne has also decided to retire after four years with the franchise. Browne is trading in his gear for a suit, heading up to the front office, as the new Director of Marketing and Quality Control.

Bellows Joins Visualeyes
General Manager, Drew Leberer-Kasperczyk was busy over the summer in search of the right replacements for the Brown's. After several weeks of talks with scouts and visits to summer league games, Leberer-Kasperczyk decided to move D-man, Duffy Dunnigan to forward, and bolster the blue line with Adam Bellows. Bellows, will join former teammate at Clarkson, Jeremiah Crowe-Vivian on the back line for Team V. Crowe-Vivian said of his old D-partner, "He adds some veteran leadership and stability to our blue line without question. He is responsible in his own end and possesses one of the best sticks in the league."

Duffy Dunnigan is very excited for the jump up front. "Forward is my natural position and I feel very comfortable there.... playing last year on D gave me a new perspective on the game that can only help progress me as a player. Plus, playing with guys like Eric Schottke and Garren Reisweber makes the transition even smoother."

Visualeyes also rewarded playoff standout, Garren Reisweber with a multi-year contract, rounding out the forward lines. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Knowing that every other team will use Visualeyes as their measuring stick for success in the EMHL, and the boys of Team V have prepared extensively over the off-season. Visualeyes opens up their season on Wednesday, September 21st at 10:50 pm against the Peace Frogs.
