Plain and simple, the effort was not there, and Third Street Tap Room capitalized, taking Game 2, 8-5 over Team Visualeyes Sunday night. With the victory, Visualeyes will play in the series deciding, Game 3, Wednesday night in the EMHL Semi-Finals. The winner will go on to face Elmwood Cozumel for the EMHL Cup.
Game 1 standout, Dusty Dunnigan after the defeat, "All around sluggish hockey, we need to put it behind us and prepare for game three. It's a one game season now. That Mighty Pack and those Genny's definitely was not the best pre-game meal."
"I was terrible," said Eric Schottke "A full Wegmans chicken finger sub and bowl of soup won't be in the game plan Wednesday."
Team V did not have the lead once in the game and looks to rebound in Game 3.
