VISUALEYES NOTEBOOK

ENGLISH-GUNNING HOLDING OUT
Visualeyes' mobile blue-liner, Matt English-Gunning (West Seneca), is holding out from EMHL action due to a contract dispute with the team. Reports say that English-Gunning is in search of a long term extension and he will not step on the ice until the sides come together. English-Gunning missed the season opening 9-4 victory over Our Bar last week Wednesday and the team hopes to have him back in the lineup with a new contract for Tuesday's match up versus Westfield's Whalers. Both English-Gunning and his agent declined to comment.

"He's only hurting himself", remarked Schottke from the 7th tee at Brighton Golf Course Saturday afternoon.

DONNELLY'S OFFSEASON CHANGES
DONZ STICKS TO WATER
The D-man turned to a new workout and nutrition regimen this summer to improve his game. Donnelly's (Tonawanda) offseason plan involved not drinking any alcohol, ever. Donnelly hopes this change will increase his strength, endurance and give him that extra boost late in the game.

BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY
Long time center-man, Don Borsuk (West Seneca) made a big change this summer off the ice, moving into the city of Buffalo. Many say his love and adoration for cats sparked the move, allowing him to spend more time with kittens.

VISUALEYES HOST WHALE
EMHL action continues Tuesday evening as The V face-off with Westfield's at Buffalo State Arena at 10:50pm. Pre-season polls predicted these teams as the favorites for the EMHL cup. Visualeyes took 2 of the 3 games versus the Whaler's last season and have dominated the career meetings, winning 7 of 8. Great seats are still available.
